She Tells Her Love while Half Asleep
by Robert Graves

A Poem About Love

She Tells Her Love while Half Asleep
by Robert Graves

She tells her love while half asleep,
In the dark hours,
With half-words whispered low:
As Earth stirs in her winter sleep
And puts out grass and flowers
Despite the snow,
Despite the falling snow.

So Soft
by: Ivee

Hi Mandy

Robert Graves' words make a short poem about love. But one that is still powerful.

I like the first lines. They're atmospheric. I can almost summarize:

Words of love whispered low while drifting off to sleep despite the falling snow.

It's as if love is stealthy. Love is secret. Love is soft.

It's so romantic.

Thanks for the poem about love!
