Poems About Love

This is perfect because he keeps coming back for more.

Love is a fire.
By Anne Marguerite Smith.

Faithfully he waits
Every night
His whole being
attuned to my coming
His love a living thing
Joy unhidden
Unbound

His eyes light up
Heart beating in time with mine
We embrace in perfect harmony
Our love a glowing fire
Shimmering, pulsating
Pleasure untold

Bodies magnetic
Attuned to each other
Holding, stroking
Loving
Being together
Forever.

Love on Fire
by: Ivee

Congratulations on your poem, Anne! It's a celebration of passionate love. And from that, I can tell that you are a such a person.

I like your use of the fire as a metaphor. Love is a strong emotion. It can be a source of energy. And fire is energy.

Thank you for sharing.
