CARPE DIEM!

Lose The Day Loitering
By Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Lose the day loitering,'twill be the same story
To-morrow, and the next more dilatory,
For indecision brings its own delays,
And days are lost lamenting o'er lost days.
Are you in earnest? Seize this very minute!
What you can do, or think you can, begin it!
Only engage, and then the mind grows heated;
Begin it, and the work will be completed.

Don't Lose Heart
by: Ivee

Don't lose heart, Martha.

I love doing those things you mentioned. Everyone does. They're fun, and we need fun. But only you can tell if they're time wasters.

What are you going to do about it?

Guilty!
by: Martha

I'm guilty!

I don't call it loitering as such. It's more like eating, watching tv, going on facebook and twitter and gossiping.

I feel really guilty.

So True, Simon!
by: Ivee

The poem nailed it right on the head. Who hasn't wasted precious time? I know I have. It's one of my new year's resolutions: to stop loitering.

Thanks for sharing!
