Poems About LifeA Lily's Say by Ryan W. Baker
The war's end is a lily's beginning.
And he who loses wins,
he walks away and pities
those who mock themselves by claiming victory.
Wisdom is swift. She is the winner's love.
A glorious crown.
----"Search for Her, diligently."----
Happy is one that has no rage,
and beauty is Inspiration's child.
A flower breaks the eyes,
a defeated man challenged defeat.
Surely he will lose his weapon
when a flower grabs hold of him,
because he dared to question it's power....
a pretty lily has broken his knees so softly and swift.
"The twig is broken!
...how hard the mortar sets.
The chisel is crippled,
...and the hammer is old."
-and a lily will win the war.
It is wise to be wise.
