127 Hours - My Top Movie

by Robert Lindsay

127 Hours

127 Hours

It shows that we can over come hate in life and really just appreciate what we have because it can be taken away at anytime.

I think what really made the movie exceptional is that at the start of the movie he was this jerk that though he was a big shot that couldn't do anything wrong when really he is no better then us. Basically u see how he evolves to be this humble man through out the movie.

I guess what I'm trying to say is it makes think about how lucky you are to have a loving family and a home to live in and why you need to cherish it because something like that could happen and maybe not in a happy ending.

----------

Note: Based on Aron Ralston's autobiography Between a Rock and a Hard Place, 127 Hours is a story about a climber who became trapped by a boulder during a mountain climbing expedition.

It was co-written, produced and directed by Danny Boyle and stars James Franco as Ralston.

The film was nominated for six Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Actor.

Have to Watch It
by: Ivee

Hi Robert

Thanks for your recommendation.

I must admit, I've never seen the film. Never heard of it, which makes me really glad you suggested it.

I like these adventure stories. Stories where men encounter life and death situations that test them. Transform. And bring out the best in them.

Will have to visit my local Blockbuster and borrow the film.

It sounds great. Looking forward to seeing it.

Thanks again, Robert.
